Location davvero calda e accogliente; Servizio curato, efficiente e simpatico. Piatti rustici e della trazioni davvero gustosi. Ottime materie prime e vino top. Conto super onesto. Consiglio vivamente

What a delightful restaurant. The setting and the owners are charming and welcoming. We loved the small menu, serving the best of local produce. House wine was excellent value too. We highly recommend this restaurant

Very small, cozy, lovely place. The service was great and the food quite nice and the prices low. Very friendly customer service. Totally recommended for a non pretentios aperitivo/cena.

Beautiful place to spend your evening eating delicious food. From a very warm service all throughout to very tasty dishes this restaurant it's worth visiting if you are in Genzano di Roma. Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures of the food, because I was so busy enjoying it. We tried delicious antipasti, the homemade fettuccine was amazing, and the meat was very tasty as well. The portions were great! Exceptional ambience, too!!

This deserves 100 stars! The two chefs make the best duo. My friend was vegetarian and they instantly came up with an alternative for her that wasn’t on the menu which is something you rarely find in italy! The self made wine is quaffable the self made pasta are cooked to perfection and the sauce they make is really the best one i‘ve had on my trip so far. The ambiente is lovely, with a nice crackling fire behind me and some light jazz playing in the background. 10/10 would recommend and come again!

Sapori di casa, ti senti avvolto/a da un calore familiare che ti non ti lascia e riaffiora sempre nel ricordo di un pasto in questa meravigliosa trattoria. Arrivateci a piedi, passeggiando per tutta la via dell'Infiorata fino su, dietro la chiesa.

Humanity, cordiality, experience, patience, friendliness and intimacy are the key to this place run by two rare people to be found today. Daniela and Danilo, a wonderful couple in every way, know what the customer is looking for and above all they know what and how to propose it. The products are all homemade, from pasta to desserts to liqueurs, even coffee is made with the moka just like grandma used to do. The place is very small and I never felt so at home anywhere. It seemed as if we had known each other forever. We were there to celebrate my cousin's birthday and we took an appetizer consisting of two types of cold meats, very good cheese, raw field chicory topped with balsamic vinegar, oil, salt and brown sugar and beans with guanciale if I'm not mistaken and sautéed chicory. As a starter we took both the homemade pasta with the white ragù and the gnocchi with the pesto of herbs. For second they took the cut of meat, the cooking was perfect and it was all excellent. The desserts, also homemade, delicious. Both the pies and the biscuits. What I liked in the end over the liqueurs always, made from them, the herbal tea served at the end of the meal. Excellent to accompany digestion. What can I say, I recommend Straconsiglio if you want to spend a pleasant day all you have to do is book here and at the entrance or exit of the restaurant you can admire a piece of Lake Nemi Umanità, cordialità, esperienza, pazienza, simpatia e intimità sono la chiave di questo posto gestito da due persone rare da trovare al giorno d'oggi. Daniela e Danilo, una coppia stupenda in tutto e per tutto, sanno cosa cerca il cliente e soprattutto sanno cosa e come proporlo. I prodotti sono tutti fatti in casa, dalla pasta ai dolci ai liquori addirittura il caffè viene fatto con la moka proprio come faceva la nonna un tempo. Il posto è piccolissimo e non mi sono mai sentita così a casa in nessun luogo. Sembrava come se ci conoscessimo da sempre. Siamo stati li per festeggiare il compleanno di mio cugino e abbiamo preso un antipasto composto da due tipi di salumi, formaggio buonissimo, cicoria di campo cruda condita con aceto balsamico, olio, sale e zucchero di canna e fagioli con il guanciale se non vado errata e cicoria ripassata. Come primi abbiamo preso sia la pasta fatta in casa con il ragù bianco che gli gnocchi con il pesto di erbette. Per secondo hanno preso la tagliata di carne, la cottura era perfetta ed era tutto ottimo. I dolci, anche loro fatti in casa, buonissimi. Sia le crostate che i biscotti. Ciò che mi è piaciuto alla fine oltre i liquori sempre, fatti da loro, la tisana servita alla fine del pasto. Ottima per accompagnare la digestione. Che dire, io lo Straconsiglio se volete passare una gradevole giornata non dovete far altro che prenotare qui e all entrata o all uscita del locale potrete ammirare un pezzo del lago di Nemi
